SUMMARY:10th Annual Blue Mass
DESCRIPTION:10th Annual Blue Mass Service\nTo honor and celebrate our\nEmergency 1st Responders\n( Bloomingdale\, IL ) – St. Isidore Parish will celebrate a 10th annual “Blue Mass” on\nSunday September 8th\, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Isidore Church\, 427 Army Trail\nRoad\, Bloomingdale\, IL 60108.  Honor Guard Show Up Time 9:30 AM\nAll police\, firefighters\, Sheriff’s deputies\, emergency medical technicians and rescue\nworkers of all faiths\, as well as the general public are invited to attend. All first\nresponders will have a special place to sit in church during the Mass.\nThe Blue Mass takes its name from the blue uniforms worn by police\, fire and\nemergency services personnel. The Blue Mass also serves as a remembrance for all\nthe first responders who died during the September 11\, 2001 attacks in New York\,\nPennsylvania and Washington\, D.C.\nThe Knights of Columbus regard as heroes the public safety personnel who literally\nput their lives on the line in service to the people in their communities every day. The\nchurch service honors the men and women who devote their lives to serving their\ncommunities as police officers\, firefighters and emergency medical responders.\nThis year’s Blue Mass is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Father John Guiney\nCouncil 8522. Bloomingdale\, IL.\nFourth Degree Knights of Columbus will serve as an honor guard.\nLight refreshments and a luncheon will be served following the Mass in the St.\nIsidore Ministry Center adjacent to St. Isidore Church.\nCall 331-806-7175 by September 4th\, 2024 For Reservations
